The condition is met if the horizontal difference between the defined finish and one of the positions of the last 5 minutes of the flight in the igc file is not more than 1 000 m. If the height difference between release point and the last point in the igc file is more than 1000 m, the 5 minutes before the last point with a height difference of 1000 m or lower are used to check the condition.
In case of using an engine the 1000 m height difference is reduced to 900 m.
On fixed tasks is no height difference, but using an engine there will be a height difference defined in the task document. |
